The way of land use derived from the medieval manor that has been passed down to the present day was highly evaluated and recognized as a Japan Heritage.<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\"><i class=\"fas fa-circle\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city.izumisano.lg.jp\/kakuka\/kyoiku\/bunkazaihogo\/menu\/nihon_isan\/nihonisan_3.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Merchants&#8217; cargo vessels carrying goods, culture, and great dreams of magnificent fortunes by the men who overcame rough waves ~Kitamae-bune&#8217;s ports of call and shipowner&#8217;s villages~<\/a><br \/>\nIn the Edo period, the wealthy merchants the Meshino and the Karakane families traded between Osaka and Tohoku &#038; Hokkaido along the the Japan Sea via the Seto Inland Sea, with many Kitamae-bunes, and gained enormous wealth.<br \/>\nSanoura (Sanomachiba), as &#8216;Kitamae-bune&#8217;s port of call and shipowner&#8217;s village, is the town remaining strongly in evidence of  the historical background of the only port that used to flourish in Izumi Province, and recognized as a Japan Heritage.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fas fa-circle\"><\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/katsuragisyugen-nihonisan.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Katsuragi Shugen &#8211; The place where Shugendo was begun and protected to pass on together with the villagers &#8211;<\/a><br \/>\nThe peaks of Katsuragi rise on the border of Wakayama, Osaka and Nara. En-no Gyoja, the founder of Shugendo, first trained at Katsuragi&#8217;s mountainous area.<br \/>\nIn Izumisano City, Inunakisan (Shipporyuji Temple), which contributed to the restoration of
