Mölkky is a universal sport originated in Finland.
It can be enjoyed not only by experienced Mölkky athletes, but also by beginners, children, students, family members and the elderly, even if they new to it.
The sport not only involves physical exercise, but also challenges you on an intellectual level as it requires calculations and advanced strategies.
In October, 2022, the 9th Mölkky Japan Tournament, the scale of which was the largest in Japan at the time, was held in the sports parks in Izumisano City, Osaka (Suehiro Park and Rinku Town Lawn Plaza)
The tournament was a heated one, with 300 teams and approximately 1,000 players coming from all over Japan.
Message from the Organizer
For three days, including the eve of the festival, we were able to have fun competing in Mölkky games with players from all over Japan, and also socializing in Izumisano City.
Mölkky is a universal sport that can be played regardless of age and gender and poses no language barriers.
It would be great if we could casually interact with people from all over the world in Izumisano City, the gateway city to Kansai International Airport, through Mölkky.
